February Solar Eclipse
Super Rare Eclipse Season, 12 sign insights, Will USA go to civil war? and other global shenanigans.
Eclipses are temporary shadows on the Sun and Moon, soul & mind. We should be cautious, not fearful. They are a regular occurrence, usually around 2 seasons a year. They always intensify whatever is happening, and we are noticing these effects as the planets begin to move closer to Rahu in Aquarius.
Potent moments in time, omens signifying unpredictable and fated events, eclipses are neither good nor bad; they represent turning points on a personal and collective level.
We are now in the eclipse window - which usually begins up to 4 weeks before the first eclipse and ends up to 4 weeks after, though I see more intense results from the fortnight before and after. Best to observe and see what you notice.

Eclipses are caused by Rahu - the north lunar node, graha (planet) of desires and illusions. He is intelligent & innovative, and can give great gains and success, yet has deceptive quality to it - Rahu represents half-truths. Those under the strong influence of the nodes often experience sharp rises and falls throughout their lives and have to be careful of getting caught in karmic cycles.
On a higher level, Eclipses are a special opportunity for inner alignment between the mind(moon), soul(sun) and body(earth), as all three are in an exact alignment. All things get intensified, so any kind of spiritual practices such as mantras are amplified positively.
🌠 Annual Solar Eclipse Aquarius - Dhanishta Nakshatra
5 planets will convene in the airy, fixed sign Aquarius on the 17th of Feb, bringing an intense concentration of energy and heightened volatility/unpredictability.
Saturn is in Pisces, Mars will be in Capricorn - this creates “Paap Katari Yoga” onto Aquarius - a difficult yoga(combination) which feels extra pressured, squeezed, intensified and ‘cut’.
Those with strong Aquarian signatures; Sun, Moon and rising will feel it most intensely.
Aquarius/Leo is the social - political axis where innovation, humanitarianism and collectivism meets individualism, self expression ego and personal authority. These themes have been highlighted since May 2025, when Rahu & Ketu shifted Aquarius/Leo.

And what are we seeing? Deep social and civil unrest, challenges to absolute authority and control, such as in Iran, major protests in the USA - finally there has been enough pressure mounted on Trump to “de-escalate” the ongoing crackdown on ‘illegal immigration’ as well as structural rifts and pressures in governments and administration around the world.
Leo is the sign of Empires, kings and leaders, with KETU - the dragon's tail transiting here since May 2025, this year brings about an end of an Empire in some form. We are certainly seeing this with the fallout from the Epstein Files - this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Many speculate on Trump’s health - and it doesn’t look great, especially with Ketu moving through his ascendant (this brings personal loss of some sort). Personally, I think the August Eclipses will be the turning point for him.
Jupiter is retrograde until 11 March, which adds support to Aquarius (and Libra) from Gemini, but also creates delays. This is a thinking Guru - your mindset, beliefs and attitudes are undergoing shifts. Hopefully this aspect will add grace, support and wisdom, despite the overall intensity. Jupiter expands things, good or bad, as does Rahu.
Maintaining a sense of proportion and limits this month is advised.
Expect flashes of inspiration, creativity, breakthroughs, new ideas, new connections, and great shifts in your beliefs. New things show themselves, solutions come about - eclipses are not always negative!
This time period can feel exciting, big, grand, powerful, and full of promise, with lota of fast, forward moving energy. There can be great breakthroughs and shifts. However, be aware - eclipses mean things are hidden! something is obscured, there are half truths, obscured reality - Rahu is the head of the serpent and is ever greedy So, if something seems too good to be true now - it probably is! Relationships that begin now are likely to be karmic in nature.
All that glitters is not gold!
Rahu, the shadow will be impacting Mercury (Virgo, Gemini), Venus (Libra, Taurus), Moon (Cancer) and Sun (Leo). Half of the zodiac is affected - You want to see which house this eclipse is happening, what planets it is impacting and aspecting to get a full picture.
A Note on USA 🗽
This directly impacts the chart of USA - which has an Aquarius moon. The emotional stability is severely untethered and destabilised as more corruption is being exposed, the high tariffs and ongoing saga about Greenland, Venezuela and Canada. This is of course affecting the U.S doller and its overall position as a ‘world power’.
On the 16th Dec 2025, a replica of the statue of liberty took a tumble in big storms - certainly a striking omen and sign of the times!! - Astrologers pay attention to ‘Nimittas’ - Omens, the events of the moment and what is surrounding, which gives reflection and guidance to the question or query.
Will USA go to civil war? Certainly there will be more fighting, more unrest and division between the ruling class and those in power. The very foundation of the USA is rotten - so how can things go back to normal?
But what will actually change? Have people become so domesticated and dependant on the very systems they loathe, to do anything about it? In some parts there will be more more riots, but it is the same hatred and pain regurgitating itself, while the elites and those in power remain protected, despite their actions.
What I see is a breaking apart of traditional power structures and elite identity (Ketu in Leo) - and an awakening, movement toward collective, communal and social connections.
There are shifts in the way people choose to have families for instance, such as co-parenting without the need of a romantic relationship, co-housing and community based environments.
We are also seeing a shift in how China and the ‘east’ is being viewed - take a look at the Adidas CNY themed range. Chinese “life hacks” - which are in fact, centuries old longevity and wellness wisdom is becoming popularised — “is it cool to be Chinese now?” after decades of negative propaganda. Faith in western power is weakening, and the ruptures are ever widening, as empires shift.
Will this just be another reshuffle of power and the ruling class?
What is in fact happening, is far deeper. This is a spiritual war, but most are wholly unaware - There are dark occultic forces, which have immense power - the key is to always feed the light.
Jyotisha, Vedanta, Yoga, Ayurveda and the gifts of Sanatana Dharma, like other indigenous wisdom, are the forces of light qhich is why they have been consistently suppressed, destroyed and brutalised. Yet this knowledge holds the keys to awaken the Inner Light by remembering who we are not just as Physical beings, but cosmic beings with immense power to Create, not destroy what is sacred.

The SUN, The MOON & The TRUTH.
Eclipses Reveal, and SO much corruption is spilling out right now. As the planets all move through Aquarius and get closer to Saturn in Pisces - accountability and responsibility becomes louder. Debts must be settled, Justice must be served. All actions have karmic repercussions, as these are the laws of reality - like death, there is no bargaining when the time comes.
Saturn moving through Pisces at the moment, until mid 2027 - the dream dissolves and disintegrates. What does that mean?
Neptune joins Saturn, which doubly amplifies the breaking down of fantasy, illusions, masks, deception and slippery dream worlds - Saturn is bringing the harsh reality to the surface - and its not pretty.
The good thing is once we fully and truly face reality as it is, there is no mask to wear, no false pretence to uphold, when you’re lying on the ground, there is no where else to go - the ground is solid. The eclipse cycles this year are potent, deep and profound, highlighting a massive turning point for the collective.
There is beauty in the breakdown.
Please remember this - while people seem to think eclipses are all sound terrible and overwhelming, events always come and go, there is always some kind of drama, some bigger than others. This is life. Astrology tells us the quality of time so we can ACT rather than REACT.
When you react, that is past karma - compulsion. When you choose to act, that is consciousness - you are using your free will to make a choice, and shift your past karmic patterns.
The key is how you respond, not trying to control what is or isn’t happening. Your sadhana, your spiritual practice, your inner devotion, the cultivation of your inner light, inner purity and simplicity is what brings divine protection, blessings and growth into your life.
You are never a victim, your own efforts can overcome any challenge or setback. Keep your mind focused on what you want to see in your life, practice gratitude and detachment from outcomes.
🥁 Dhanishta, The Star of Wealth & Cosmic Timing
The Nakshatra, or Lunar Mansion that the moon will be in is Dhanishta, the 23rd star. (A nakshatra is a star cluster within a zodiac sign. there are 2.5 in each sign, 27 in total across the 12 zodiac signs)
Dhanishta spans 23°20 Capricorn - 6°40 Aquarius. It is the star of wealth that comes from the beneficent and divine forces of the universe. It has a special connection with dance, drumming and rhythm, symbolised by a Drum - Shiva’s Damaru. It is linked to Saturn and Time, as the drummer is the timekeeper of the band.
The nakshatra lord Mars will be combust, yet also in this star. If you have planets in Aquarius Dhanishta this is a powerful, potent and potentially challenging time. Mars combust reveals inner agitation, outer frustration, ego problems, issues with timing - events on this day may be difficult to plan and navigate.
There will be worldwide CNY celebrations, crowds will be inevitable, but it is advised to avoid big crowds of any sort, if you are sensitive or easily overwhelmed.
🌙 New Moon - Amavasya
Feb 17 will be Amavasya - dark(new) moon. A potent time for connecting with ancestors, releasing the past and cultivating inner calm. Our energy draws inwards. A dark moon has no light and thus is mostly inauspicious for any kind of new beginnings. Combust Mars means seething anger erupts - ego is strong, as is the desire to fight. Repression reaches a crescendo, a point of no return.
Events which occur during eclipse seasons can feel fated, destined in some way; changes take time to unfold, the cycles have a ripple effect which can last for up to 6 months - the next eclipse season is in August. These times are connected.
On a mundane level, eclipses trigger earthquakes, strong weather patterns, eruptions, floods etc. Since Aquarius is a fixed air sign connected to communications, we may see more air related issues, such as with aircraft, tornadoes, heavy wind storms, security or tech breaches and blackouts.
You will see that people become more sensitive, everything is intensified. There is discord, unrest, frustration, tension, anxiety, breakdowns, there can be greater confusion and more misunderstandings.
There can be sudden virus outbreaks, cyber security attacks, fraud and corruption gets further exposed, leadership falls, changes or ends, there can be clashes with bosses and superiors. Weird, wonderful and strange things happen, freak accidents, sudden windfalls, breakthroughs, insights, shifts and revelations.
As I have writing this - the Nipah virus has now become a thing in the news. With only a couple of weeks away from the eclipses, I can only hope it doesn’t escalate!
